Will PhilRx complete the PA process? If so, how long? What is the staff's role?
For all prescriptions requiring a PA, PhilRx will initiate and pre-populate the PA form with all provided demographic information and ICD-10 via CoverMyMeds™ (CMM), usually the same day a prescription is received. Then, PhilRx will send over the CMM key to the prescriber’s office via fax (or email - depending their preference). Once the CMM key is sent over to the office, the office will have to go into the CMM portal and fill out clinical questions and click “Submit to Plan”.
Note: PhilRx will not pre-populate the answers to the clinical questions. ICD-10 is pre-populated only if it's provided by the prescriber
