If the provider/staff includes documentation for the PA/SE in the notes section of initial submission, will Phil then input into CMM for them or will they still need to do it themselves (key code & notes)?

Based on the business rules established by the manufacturer, Phil will identify the correct plan, generate the PA on the plan-specific form, and pre-fill all HCP and patient demographic information as well as the ICD-10 code provided by the HCP. Phil will not pre-populate any clinical information in the PA (this is a requirement from the manufacturer's compliance team), but can utilize provided information to educate the office on potential considerations to improve chances of PA approval upon submission (e.g., level of detail to include, T/F requirements). The PA key will be shared via fax/email (based on HCP preference) and the PA will also show up directly in the HCP’s CoverMyMeds™ (CMM) queue. In most instances the office will need to just input the clinical information and hit the ‘Send to Plan’ button to submit the PA.
